Miss Linda Murphy is a native Irish teacher with 5 years of teaching experience in Vietnam. She is capable of instructing various proficiency levels, with a special fondness for preschool education. She is approachable, with a gentle and expressive voice. Linda’s personality is pleasant and amiable, characterized by professionalism, punctuality, and thorough lesson preparation before each class.

Experience

2020 – Now: English Teacher at Wisdomland International Preschool

• Design and follow a complete teaching plan using the PYP method of teaching or Reggio Emilia approach and Cambridge textbooks.
• Nurture and develop young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning.
• Observe, assess and document student’s preferred leaning styles, performance and progress.
• Report on student’s development, attainment and behaviour.
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and internal staff.

2018 – 2020: English Teacher at ILA, Go Vap

• Promoted regular outdoor play, allowing children to develop a sense of adventure through safe, secure exploration.
• Coordinated and planned activities which kept children engaged and entertained throughout the day.
• Used imagination, innovation and creativity during activities, facilitating learning and development.
• Developing the lesson plans and teach English for children from 3 to 12 years old.
