About Teacher

Charles Van Wyngaardt is a fun and energetic person. He loves teaching children and he always tries to make my lessons enjoyable and memorable for his students. He also tries to create a more relaxed and comfortable environment for them, that way they will not feel scared to speak, make mistakes and improve. He makes use of lots of physical humor, jokes, props, games, songs and funny activities in his classroom. He also tries to incorporate material or content that his students might find interesting in his lessons. 

Experience

 TEFL Teacher at “All Love Education” Hangzhou, China (2015 – 2020):

• Teach 10 classes, 2 times a week, 8-12 students per class.
• Teach different age groups. From 3 to 12 years of age.
• Prepare lessons, extra teaching materials, songs, games and activities.
• Prepare and teach story lessons. (Read story books and afterwards do fun learning activities relating to the book)
• During summer holidays teach extra specialized lessons, focusing on specific parts of language(ex. “phonics for beginners”)
• Take part in and help organize lessons for themed events and outings. Ex. Going shopping, a day at the zoo, or holiday events like Christmas, Dragon boat festival or The Chinese New Year.
• Help recruit new students by doing free trial lessons in outdoor parks or public areas.
